You can make payment via credit card or Paypal on the Checkout Page. Credit card information is verified and secured by Stripe.

  1. How can I be sure that my payment information will not be compromised?

For payments via Paypal, since you are directed to the PayPal website, we can’t access your payment information. In the case of credit cards, we use Stripe, the trusted and well-regarded payment processor in the payment process industry. We never store your payment information on our servers. All such information is sent to Stripe, which is then encrypted on disk with AES-256. Brand Heroes is given a unique identification key through which we refer to your payment information while requesting charges with Stripe.

  1. Can I use the “As Seen On” logo on my new book/e-book?

Of course. Once you’ve been published you can use this logo anywhere you like – on the cover of your book, e-book, or website. You can even tattoo it on your arm!

  1. Are there any topics/businesses that you don’t accept?

Articles with offensive, objectionable, or illegal subject matters are not accepted by Brand Heroes. These typically include guns, alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling, legal cases, negative press, loans, multi-level marketing, dating sites, 3rd party companies, and more.

  • Negative news about any 3rd party person, company, government, country, religion, or race.
  • Politics-related content.
  • ICOs/Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency (blockchain allowed but no coin offering).
  • Forex trading (books/teaching courses are exceptions), dating apps, or websites.
  • Adult and Sex (The word ‘sex’ is also not allowed).
  • Content relating to sexual reproductive health.
  • Articles about underwear, revealing swimwear, lingerie, bras, or undergarments.

    1. Will I be published on the main website of NBC, FOX, etc.?

    You won’t be published on the main websites (for example fox.com) since they are reserved for national headline news. However, you will be published on their local affiliates such as FOX 28, FOX 43, etc. which are the official sites for these TV stations. For example, FOX 43 is for Channel 43 in a specific city and is part of the FOX News network. This is as if getting published in a local newspaper.

     

    1. What are the attributes of the published backlinks – Follow or Nofollow?

    Adhering to Google Webmaster Guidelines, we send them out as ‘Nofollow’. Top SEO experts are of the opinion that Nofollow backlinks are actually good for SEO. A Google search would be much helpful.  While every search result states that the Nofollow option improves SEO, there are some case studies also that have corroborated it.     Just like any news item, your article will be having a “shelf life” and it’s natural for it to get “old” over time. The duration of stay on a website, typically, is determined by the concerned news site, and Brand Heroes never removes your press release unless it violates our Terms of Service. While some news sites remove them after 2 years, some do it after 90 days. There are also some news sites that host them indefinitely. Be rest assured — the fact that you have been featured will always be true and you can proudly claim that as long as you like.

    In less than 4 days, assuming that the article is written by you,

    Unfortunately, no. Once it has been released and reaches the hands of news sites, there is no way Brand Heroes can initiate a process of revision.

    1. Why can’t I publish it myself? Why do I need to go through you at all?

    You do have the option to reach out to each news station individually. However, it’s most likely that you won’t get published since they typically work with clients who provide a bulk number of articles per month only. In all practicalities, it would take several months and even years for you to build a network of over 100 new sites from scratch.

    1. What will be the exact status of my published article – a blog post or a press release?

    As we are publishing your article to our news network, they will only be categorized as press releases.
